Current Power Technologies installs commercial EV charging stations for facility operators across Houston and San Antonio. We work with fleet depots, healthcare campuses, data centers, senior living communities, cold storage warehouses, banks, luxury retail properties, and other workplaces that need charging built into daily operations from day one.
Projects range from a handful of workplace chargers to multi-port deployments serving tenants, employees, fleet vehicles, and visitors at the same site. We’re a family-owned, licensed and insured electrical contractor and a Tesla Energy Certified Installer for both EV chargers and superchargers, so your facilities team works with one accountable crew from the first site walk through the final handoff.
When Your Business Needs EV Power, We Are Here

AT A GLANCE: WHAT’S INCLUDED
Who We Build For
Fleet Depots and Transportation Yards
Fleet operators need chargers that keep vehicles rotating on schedule, not idling in a queue. We size electrical capacity around your duty cycles and plan charger placement around how your yard actually moves.
Healthcare Facilities
Hospitals, outpatient clinics, and surgical centers need charging that doesn’t compete with life-safety loads for electrical capacity. We coordinate charger circuits around your existing critical-power setup so neither system gets shortchanged.
Data Centers
Data center sites already run tight electrical budgets. We work with your engineering team to carve out charging capacity without touching the load reserved for IT infrastructure and cooling.
Senior Living and Assisted Living Communities
Staff, visitors, and resident family members all need reliable charging on a campus that can’t tolerate electrical surprises. We plan installs around the code requirements that apply to senior-living occupancies.
Food Warehousing and Cold Storage
Refrigeration and charging both draw real power, and cold storage sites can’t afford a charger install that strains the circuits keeping product safe. We calculate capacity with your cold-chain loads already accounted for.
Luxury and High-End Retail
Customers expect charging that matches the property, not an afterthought bolted to the curb. We plan placement, power, and finish details around the customer experience your brand has built.
Workplace Charging
Office and corporate campuses want employee charging that can grow with adoption. We design the electrical backbone to support today’s chargers and tomorrow’s additions.
Multifamily and Apartment Properties
Property managers field tenant requests for charging access and need a system that’s fair to administer and simple to bill. We design layouts that make adding chargers later straightforward instead of a full rebuild.
Customer and Visitor Charging
Retail centers, medical office parks, and mixed-use properties want visitor charging that’s easy to find and easy to use. We place chargers where they serve traffic flow instead of fighting it.
Planning Your Deployment
A commercial charging project starts with the electrical panel, not the parking lot. We look at your site’s available load capacity, how many chargers you need now, and how many you’re likely to add later, because retrofitting undersized electrical service is far more disruptive than planning for growth up front.
Parking layout matters too: charger placement has to work with existing traffic patterns, ADA requirements, and how vehicles queue at busy hours.
We also plan for access control where a site needs to manage who can charge and when, and we coordinate directly with the utility on service upgrades, transformer capacity, and scheduling so permitting and inspection don’t catch your project off guard. Utility timelines vary by provider and site.
How We Install: Our Process

Site walk to assess the property and existing electrical service
- 2
Load calculation to confirm available capacity
- 3
Electrical-capacity review against your charger count and growth plans
- 4
Equipment selection matched to your use case
- 5
Utility coordination for any service upgrade
- 6
Permitting and inspection scheduling
- 7
Installation of electrical infrastructure and chargers
- 8
Network setup and configuration
- 9
Commissioning and test charging
- 10
Facilities-team handoff with documentation and training
Level 2 vs. Level 3: Choosing the Right Charger
Level 2 chargers run on a facility’s standard commercial electrical service and suit sites where vehicles sit for hours: employee lots, fleet depots overnight, apartment parking.
Level 3 chargers, also called DC fast chargers, push much higher power and suit sites where a vehicle needs a fast turnaround, like visitor charging at retail or a fleet that can’t sit idle all day. Most commercial sites end up with a mix of both, sized to how long vehicles actually stay parked.
As a Tesla Energy Certified Installer, we install both charger types and superchargers to Tesla’s own installation standards, so your project is handled by Licensed Master Electricians trained specifically on that equipment rather than treated as a generic add-on to an electrical punch list.
Backup Power and Your Broader Electrical System
EV charging capacity doesn’t exist in a vacuum. It shares panels, service capacity, and sometimes standby power with the rest of your facility’s electrical system. Current Power Technologies also handles commercial electrical work and standby generator installation, so if your project needs backup-power coordination alongside charging, we can look at both as part of the same site plan. That doesn’t guarantee generator integration for every site. It means your charging infrastructure gets planned by a team that already understands the rest of your building’s power.
