Our Story: From the Hill Country to the Gulf Coast
Current Power Technologies did not begin in a corporate boardroom. We started right here in Texas.
Founded in San Antonio by Grant and Brittany Winston, Current Power Technologies was built as a family-owned and operated electrical contractor with a simple goal: to provide homeowners and businesses with dependable, high-quality electrical services without the runaround or impersonal service of the big-box franchises.
As licensed Master Electricians first and foremost, we have always approached our work with a commitment to safety, code compliance, and craftsmanship. From residential panel upgrades and EV chargers to complex commercial electrical projects and standby generator installations, we believe the job should be done the right way, every time.
As the Texas grid became more unpredictable, we expanded naturally into turnkey backup power solutions, helping families and businesses prepare with confidence and keep the lights on when it matters most. Today, we are proud to serve customers in both San Antonio and Houston with the same family-owned values, electrical expertise, and long-term mindset that shaped our company from the beginning.
